Sunrise at Wayawu Estate ~ Two Years On

Two years ago when I first moved to Geelong I did a model call offering local families a free session in exchange for their time to help with the rebuilding of my business in Geelong.  Katie messaged me, telling me that they lived at a small boutique winery called Wayawu Estate.  We decided on a sunrise session for the beautiful morning light.  The session was magical, the light was glowing, we had so much fun. Back then it was two little girls, one just taking her first steps with her big sister doting on her. Wayawu Estate is a beautiful little winery tucked away off the Bellarine Highway in Wallington.  They also happen to make some amazing wines too!

Two years on we did it all again!  There may not have had the beautiful glowing sunrise we had two years before, it was a foggy one but still just as beautiful.  Lilian and Genevieve came running to the car as soon as I arrived, they were so excited.  (We had actually planned a session a couple of weeks before, which needed to be postponed due to rain. Katie had messaged saying how disappointed the girls had been and that they had offered to wear their gumboots so they wouldn’t get too wet!)   The girls had grown so much and watching them play and run around the winery was a story in itself.

Katies words after their session “You did an amazing job! We just walked around occasionally throwing a child in the air haha.”  There was some throwing in the air along with some swinging around in circles. The girls loved the blanket swing along with dancing in the beautiful morning sun on the driveway.

Katie, Daniel, Lilian and Genevieve there were so many beautiful moments in time, it’s hard to choose just a few.

I hope you see what I see the connection and fun as a family played and danced as the sun rose.  Family time to remember, family time to cherish.
